Well I ran around town today and I am very impressed with this mod!! There is a very noticable increase in power and the sound is awesome! Homemade mods are the best!

That is a great looking setup Joey and I couldn't agree more about your observation in noticing more power. Mine is on it's second tank of gas now and it seems to be getting a little more powerful and louder. Maybe this is the ECU learning the ISR.
I couldn't be happier even if I had to beat the tar out of the back of the ISR pipe in order to avoid master cylinder interference.

Joey: I like the sound from this mod too. When I installed mine, my girlfriend looked at me and like I was crazy for making the Runner sound like one of Bo Duke's or Cooter's cars. It's funny to stomp on the gas to pass someone and the Runner starts making all of this noise like it should be hauling a$$ but it's not.
Yeah, there is more power and I am happy about that but in the end, it still is a 3.0L.
Firefyter-Emt: I was at Home Depot the other day and was in the electrical department and found a 2.5" PVC conduit tube that is bent almost the same angle as the one in Joey's pics. If my rubber intake tube was split, I'd get one of those bent PVC tubes from HD, paint it black, and get the same type of rubber tubing that Joey used to attach it to the airbox and the TB.

I kinda like the fiberglass idea.. I think it may be eaiser to do it with the pipe seeing as how I have a guy who can and will do it.. But that galss one hits a 100 for the cool factor.. I wonder how much more growl I will get from the snorkel head?

Will anyone around the PHOENIX area be willing to help me complete this task?

I'm sure I can find the pipe, but since you have done it, you might have a location to recommend, but most importantly would be installing it.
