1st gen clinometer, 3rd gen style

Took a lot of dremeling, but finally made it fit. I'm working on a thin piece of black plastic to go along the bottom trim piece right above the stereo, the plastic is a little jagged where I cut it. Using blue led's to light it up like the rest of my dash, still working on the placement of the led's for the best light dispersion. And yes Corey, you have to look down to see it .

Also I have the vinyl case and metal panel from underneath leftover if anybody needs them.

Red, though I'm sure you could paint it no problem.

Looks very nice Bill.
That looks like the 2nd gen overseas unit like I have.

I'd almost be tempted to move mine down to the lower DIN pocket, yours turned out great.

Pretty clever. I don't have any of those angle things, the less I know about the angles the better.

Heh I'm hoping for just the opposite effect. There's been times when I swear I feel ready to roll at any second, hopefully I'll be able to look at the gauge and see "Oh, it's only 20 degrees, I'm OK"

They show what angle your truck is tilted at in degrees, side to side and front to back. I'm not sure what else they may have on them.

Should be an Altimeter (usually in meters though):pat:

The American version that came on the 1st gen 4Runners is in feet.

Unfortunately the 2nd gen clinometer like Bill has above and that I have only came on the overseas rigs and no US ones, and it is in metric for the altimeter part.

I have not looked into seeing about putting a new dial on mine, as I don't use the altimeter part, my GPS I use on trips takes care of that.
