Yes a 2nd Gen is silly easy to swap. The 22RE ones are the trucks to get.

has he already bought tires/wheels? just curious how big its gona be....and i know with these swaps you never know till the end...but im guessing 35's?...trying not to open up a bag of technical stuff, just wondering about tires

The guy will still run 35's.
They will know how big it is going to be.
Schaefer has taken the guess work out of doing it this way.
