135k maintenance
So I got this notice in the mail from toyota to bring my truck in for the 135k maintenance. Since I got the truck used I don't have the maintenance manual and I was wondering at which intervals I should be doing maintenance on my truck anyway. Also want to see what I should be doing for the 135k maintenance if that isn't just a ploy to get me to bring in my truck....

Probably, the 135K interval is basically the same as 15k. 15k is probably just checking evrything, rotating tires, oil change, and similar stuff. Has the timing belt and drive belts been changed? All fluids changed recently?

not saying this is the answer to the infamous 135k service...but if the rig hasnt been tuned up lately...plugs, wires, distro cap and rotor, pcv, fuel filter, air filer, oil change and filter, new diff gear oil, new atf(if its a auto), transfer case fluid change(if so equipped), etc....maybe even switch over to syn fluids, but i wont start on that cuz it will just start another one of "those" thread lol...

Well I'm bout to tune it up this coming week. I replaced the pcv about 12k miles ago. I just switched over to synthetic in January. I did a transmission flush last month. The diff gear oil was changed about 20k ago. I'll probably have to check on the dist cap and fuel filter then.
