Have you flexed it out with the KM2s yet? Does it rub? I've always loved the 33x12.5 tire size, but I'm not sure if they really fit on stock height yotas.

No I havent flexed. They do rub at about 3/4 turns. They ride awesome and very little power loss. I am lifting it 3" though just to clear the tires.

33x12.50s are perfect size for toyotas.

Nice score! I've got the same tires and they grip!! Not sure in the rain though. I cleared mine with a 1.5" lift.

You cleared the same size with just 1.5"? Because Im thinkin about orderin ToyTecs BJ spacers and then 2" blocks out back.

Yup, I used a body lift though(it's on my build), I want to keep the ifs as stock as possible but I will be adding bj spacers and relaxing the torsion bars to stock height.

I think you can pull it off with a 1" BD lift even, with some trimming to the pinch weld.

No such thing as a 3" bj spacer... 3" block? Do new leafs instead or zuk mod
There's nothing wrong with a mild body lift, in fact, you can get better results using a combination of suspension lift & body lift. For example: notice the low hanging tranny crossmember, a bodylift will allow for a drivetrain lift, not to mention you can fit a bigger engine.(7m soon)

3" BJ lift sounds like a recipe for disaster. I won't let any sort of BJ spacer near my truck, let alone a 3". Good way to eat CVs and puke steering parts

Little update:

That header is a pile of poopie!! Im going to order a new one. It was a warped flange because the guy I got it from welded the air tube holes instead of using plates.....so the flange is warped....sounds like a damn VW.

Also tomorrow i think im going to make some garden edging fender flares and make a set of mud flaps out of some old floor mats. Ill post up pics of the process.

Found time to make my fender flares today.

Here is the result.

Found some old garden edging in the back yard.

Got the first one cut out.

Found this when I took the tire off ....I think I may need a new axle seal.

First one on.

Just used screws with little washers.

And with the tire on.

Still sticks out but not near as far.

Second one cut and on.

Legal limit here is 2". Im right on the money!!

Finished project.....had about a foot of left overs.

I have to agree, those flares look pretty good, have you actually been pulled over around there for tires sticking out a little?

Not for these ones. I got pulled over a few weeks back because of my old tires...which were 31x10.50's. So it was only a matter of time. They got me for a cracked windshield too. Didnt issue me anything which is good.

Man, my windshield has been cracked the whole time I have owned my truck and never got pulled over for it, I did however get pulled over for crossing the yellow line when I made a left hand turn
