PhattyBanks long slow build

I'll go ahead and start this thread to help me document my 4runner. This is going to take awhile to do, (I honestly don't ever see it being finished).

My long term goals are:

1 Fix the rust.
2 SAS.
3 exo cage?
4 maybe chop the rear into a truck
5 ?.......

Anyway here's what I have to start with:

After fixing the front damage enough for the headlight to shine correctly, fixing a brake line, side step, and rear bumper removal.

Next on my to do list is good correct size tires...

All comments ideas/criticism are welcomed.

looks like a great start, what kind of motor? im ausseming 3.0 v6, auto or manual? a good next improvement is a manaul lock in hub swap, the ADD feture hubs are junk for four wheeling, i guess if your serious enbough about SAS it can wait though, wabfab also has some awsome offroad bumpers, or are you planning on building your own?

Unfortunately its a 3. auto. I was thinking about a hub swap, but then I decided if I'm going to tear into it there is no point in putting money into a weak link in the drivetrain.

I've been looking at wabfab's site alot lately. My buddy is a fab guy and he doesn't want me to buy any bumpers just yet. Says he has an idea he wants to try, so we will see

Haha no kidding. It really isn't as bad as it first appears, it's rusty behind and around the rear wheels, but the frame is good and solid. Even the body damage is just the fender and bumper.
