So finally got off my lazy @$$ and did the bed liner kit. Wanted to do it this summer but work schedule sucked and was dog tired after work. So here it is.

Theres a few spots I have to touch up but other then that I like it. I didn't use the roller that much, I used the brush mostly. Will try to do it this summer to my F150. Only ended up using 1/2 the gallon can. I also did my rocker panels on the bed and the back roll pan of the bed. Will take pics and post them. I plan to do the rocker panels on the cab also, just gotta do a little bit of body work before tho. I'll take a pic of it again in a few days after its cured. I would recommend this to anyone.

Dupli Color. I like it. Even did the rocker panels on the bed. Still have half a can left. My wife got me the kit for Christmas. Work schedule was all jacked up during the summer, dam rookie rotation. But started vacation yesterday, and didnt get my Buck tag this year, so figured do it. I think the kit was like $85-90. More then enough for me to do the rocker panels on the cab and still have plenty left. Might do my bumpers, when I make them, with the bed liner too

Put my tailgate back on today and did the top edge of the tailgate with the bedliner and the lower part of it also. Taped it off so it line up with the bed rail and rocker panel. Went ahead and cleaned up the pieces that the tailgate latches too. Will post up a few pics of them tomorrow. Thinking I will try to get new bolts for the tailgate hinges too. There a little rusted. The bed and tailgate are the 2nd for this truck. The 1st ones were swapped out, Bed had rust holes in the fenders my fist would fit, and I dont have small hands haha. I think this bed is from a 84-85, The guy I got it from, him and his dad had like 5 Yotas, I wanted the guys 22RE-T. It was a single cab long bed 84 with the 22RE-T swapped in. Had 33s and was sweet, that was like 8-9 years ago. The dad still has his shop in town but the son moved to AZ or NM for college.

That makes big improvement on the looks of a bed. Alot better then the plastic bedliners that come in some of these trucks as well as all those do is hold water and rust out the bed.

That's exactly what happened to my 1st bed Terry, The bed was so rusted and had holes all in it, It only took me and 1 of my buddys to pick it up. When we dropped it I heard stuff fall. We moved it and found rusted little pieces of metal and rust dust.

New taillight lenses

So my wife has been telling me for awhile I needed new taillight lenses, Told her Id just get the paint and touch them up, Well she didn't like that idea, So the other night she was on Amazon and ordered me some new lenses. Thought it was odd that she asked me the year of my truck, same year she was born, my truck tho is a month younger lol. And today in the mail I got theses Gonna put them on tomorrow.

The new lenses add a little pop to the back end and always makes a great improvement. I always liked the roll bars in trucks.

Did you get the PM I sent and did it help show how to get the A pillars off. I get to work a lot of holidays as well. The only sure holiday I get is Thanksgiving as that is my day off.

I get several friends that work in the prison system as well. One had to do suicide watch on Joesph Franklin, one that Missouri executed recently, that shot Larry Flynt and some others. Missouri is going to execute another one today or soon and his name is Allen Nicklasson. Guess he says he wants to take as many guards with him as he can and they are taking his threat serious.

Another guard is responsible for Levi King and he was on The Killer Speaks, He is from my area. Apperciate the risk you take for keeping the bad apples away from us.

I got the pm terry, Thanks. havent got to work on my truck cause of weather, has been below 20s the past 2 weeks, today is the first that it has been above 30.
I've worked in prisons for over 8 years now, I think I have worked most holidays. have had a few off cause of days off. Had Christmas and Christmas eve last year and new years eve and day also. I work for the federal prisons now in the supermax. I've done a good amount of suicide watches when I was a rookie, now the only way I do them is if I do OT, usually our rookies do it. Kind of a right of passage here lol. They do suck.
