hey man as far as lifts go. id stick straight suspension. if u do a set of chevys out back and say bj spacers and a torsion crank ud be sitting at about 4in of lift, good for 33s and the chevys would let u flex like few other ifs toyotas... and hurry up and get ur exhaust done already...

I've haven't been on here in almost a month and you fellas have already got this boy wanting a lift, almost talked into SASing it. Dang ya'll are just all about helping ppl spend money aren't ya. Steezes that truck looks tight man, great job so far. Nothing looks better than a nice clean yota..........well except for one completely covered in mud.

you know as well as I do that we can't wipe out all the jeeps..........we've got to have someone around that doesn't have a yota so we can show them what a 4x4 is suppose to be able to do.

Couldnt be better said, but I thought that is what chevys and fords were there for lol cuz surprisingly the only vehicles i ever find getting truly stuck are chevys and fords, with the occasional dodge lol... maybe Im just a lonely yota enthusiast in my said group of friends... STEEZE WHERE HAVE U BEEN

It will be no problem wiping out jeeps, they are always jealous but wont tell you. I had a big Jeep for a while and got tired of having yotas wheel past me when I got stuck so I broke down sold it and bought my yota. There is no going back. And as far as chevs and fords go, they have no place in real offroading.

haha i hate to admit this on yotatech but my dads 94 yj was a beast, it would out wheel my yota any day of the week but then again his was built with gears, lockers, and lift. lol

An equally built toyota should be able to out wheel a Jeep. The only problem that you need to address in a toyota pickup is the light tail end and and 50/50 weight distribution is important.

Well Honestly put. a jeep has its place and a toyota has its, mine has outwheeled a many a jeep that have thousands more in their rigs, but in certain situations they outwheeled me. ie extremly tight turning situations, but once im done building mine a "tight" turn radius wont be as much of a problem...
