It sounds like you got a good plan worked out for your SAS. Here's a tip, after you start removing your IFS off your truck, keep your wheel hubs and brake calipers. The wheel hubs use the same bearings as your straight axle and will fit right on the spindles. This will gain you a total of 3" of width taking your front axel from 55" to 58" matching your IFS rearend without having to run wheelspacers. If you get some landcruiser slotted rotors, you can use the IFS calipers which will upgrade your brakes at the same time. I am in the process of doing this on my build. The LC rotors cost me $50 compared to $80+ for wheel spacers, plus your getting better brakes. You'll have to drill holes in the new rotors to match the IFS hub pattern, I just did mine yesterday and it is relatively easy.

Finished dissasembling my front end today!! Heres a pic right before a yanked off the wheels & tires....didnt want it to get dark before i could take a pic of my progress, tomorow im goin to try grind out the tubes in the frame to save some $$$ after that a good cleaning and prep for paint

Picked up this sweet Light bar with 6" pro comp lights for $60!! on Craigslist

i really like your thread... your determination is really good....
i would like others said change the seals and all fluid.. do you know which gears your new axles have and which gears your old ones have???
there isnt really a cheap way to do a SAS... but get a front hanger... and make alot of the mounts...
craigs list is a good way to make some money !!

Pro-Comps get decent reviews for the money. Whether to go with ES3000s or ES9000s is an open debate.

BAD NEWS...the guy who I was going to work off my cross over kit screwed me over and decided to sell it, so im at a big stunt in my SAS.....idk what to do guys I cant make the money to buy a new $400 kit and those are REALLY hard to come by used....

As for shocks , I didn't want to put up 400+ for bilsteins either. I put rancho 9000s 9 way adjustables on my lifted f150 , 120$ea but I tow and daily it so good adjustable shocks were a must. I go some procomp es9000s 14.5" travel for 42$ea from summit for my yota build. My buddie runs them I'm his yota and they perform well. Can't beat the price.

Looks great with the light bar. I wish I could find one for mine for that cheap. Do you know what brand it is? As for the headache rack, I think it looks better without it.

oh and I sold the axel...made $200 so im still out about $20 but I bought a toolbox for $50 then sold it the next day for $100 last week!
