Lining up for the Huge X that a 315 Cat pictured in the background dug out. Cleared it instead of crawling it 2nd gear normal low range 5500 RPM's dropping clutch. Bent my front wheel and slammed my drag link into my frame and bent the drag link and my frame. lol

If you're going to be doing some of the same stuff you did in your '85, I'd vote the FJ80 axle for some more width and stability. May have to reinforce it a little more to keep from bending it, but it would also be a little more original. Looks good so far!

Decided to make some speaker boxes out of some MDF I had laying around. The speakers came with the truck. 6"x9" MTX's with Sony Xplode covers. Check out the pics.

Wired and mounted. I forgot to take picks of mounting points. I will do that later. I have to pull them back out for painting, or possibly carpet. More to come later.

The sound is incredible. The Alpine head unit in 60wx4 is plenty of power to push the MTX 6"x9"'s out back and the 4.25"'s Boston Acoustics in the dash. I will probably go to a few pawn shops around Missoula and look for an Amp and a Sub. I am not looking to spend much money on the system. So far I have $100.00 into the whole system. That is because I bought the Boston's brand new 5 years ago.

I need some advice on where to mount some subs. I still would like to maintain the storage areas and be able to sleep in the back. Show me some pics of what you guys have done.
