Keep plugging away fixing all of the little things. Scored both front fenders and a 4Runner tailgate all NOS Toyota parts still in the box for 250 bucks. Seems like a good deal to me but not sure? New tires ready to go on. Any recommendations for stock height replacement shocks?

Just got done reading through your build thread, nice work! Your 4runner is looking great! I really like your sons fj40, that's one of the few rigs that I would take over my 4runner. Looks like a nice original survivor, should make an awesome father-son project!
I like your M416 trailer too! I'm in the process of building a trailer from scratch, hope to finish it this spring and use it for expedition/camping adventures with the family this summer.

Thanks for the kind words. The M416 has been a long project due to moving 2x during the resto. The FJ is gonna be awesome. He is getting really into them now. Gonna be 10 in March. This 4Runner is a blast. Since I have bought it my 09 Jeep Rubicon gets little attention. Only put 5k miles on it since the 4Runner was purchased. Even thinking of selling it for a new Tacoma. Thanks for the parts hookup.

Thats awesome that you're getting your son started at an early age. He'll have a better appreciation for all the time an effort that goes into restoring these awesome vehicles. I've seen too many kids just given everything, and then they don't appreciate it as much, and don't take care of their rigs like they would if they were involved in working on it. I hope to get my boy more involved in projects this spring/summer. He's 6, so his attention span is a little limited, lol.
No problem on the parts, glad I could help ya out! I tried to get the parts sent off today, but I got to the Post Office too late, the window was already closed. I'm off work Monday, I'll be sure to get them sent off first thing!
