Got the stock air box installed and ready to start modding the old one for the half a@# snorkle idea i came up with...and i also scored a couple doors off an 83' to make half doors for her still looking on here for half door build threads but they are few and far between...i did find a good idea for making them quick release doors so that will be part of the project will get some pics up this weekend

Not sure, as 86 mentioned, that 83 doors will even work, let alone look right... Maybe you meant 88? Anyway, let us know.. but far as a good half door thread, Zach did a good one(Zsconfederate) and so did Dropzone(a staff dude on here, very SICK rigs, etc.)just finished his, I believe, today? He posted up pics on the "what did you do to your rig today" thread. Or maybe it was "Post your pics"??? lol....

Man the truck looks nice. I love the little side steps. I have been planning on getting some of those for my 85 pickup. Is the air scoop on the hood functional?

yea the scoop is functional but I put a stock air filter housing back in it...the guy before me had a cluster F*@& system set up that i couldn't keep sealed on the trail it would snap the studs on the carb all the time so the scoop really doesn't serve a purpose now

That sounds like the wiring going to the rear lights on my truck's "bed". The guy I bought it off of made his own bed (sort of) and then wired little lights on the back for turn signals and break lights. The wiring needs some TLC and the bed itself could use some work to make it look better. Anyways, how is the truck coming?
