Thanks man. I'm excited to get it home this weekend. The toughest part is gonna be trying to stay focused on the toyota and not spending all my time on this lol. On a side note I named the ford Betty haha. Seems fitting.

The 74-79 Fords are my favorite domestic trucks. One of these days I will have one. Just great looking body styles. I really like the way the dash is set up in them as well. Motors are easy to work on as well. I have seen the inlne six cylinder to 429s in them.

Got the truck home today. 4 1/2 hrs round trip and didn't have time to get my car before work so had to drive the truck to work lol. Pretty nervous about it cuz the tires are 35 years old lol. Truck runs great and handles suprisingly well. Gonna be a little nerve racking on the way home at 11 pm.

Ya made it home ok lol. The ford is probably going to get the attention first just cuz I need it for this winter. Mainly needs tires, some brake work, and maybe window seals if I can find them cheap. Got a buddy with some 33" super swampers he has no use for so those may be going on soon.

Oh I will when it happens! It's going to be epic, you'll see why! Bahaha. Swampers will only be temporary til I can afford slightly less aggressive tires. I've already got visions of ruling the local truck n tractor pull next summer.

Not much of an update but I decided to take the kids for a cuisine around the farm in the yota. The dirt road was wetter than it looked but by the time I realized it we were too far into it to turn around. Made it thru without much problem. I was sweating it tho cuz the truck doesn't have a front driveshaft haha. Kids had fun at least.

Looks like we are getting some cold weather coming our way and headed out to you. Been raining and getting colder all morning.
