Recently I had to do a bunch of front end work on my tow rig, got a new job and bought an old VW diesel to commute, that needed a ton of work, and I finally got back to my 4runner in the last couple weeks. I have a bunch of pics, will update this week. Have a winch going on, extended driveshaft, just ordered a bunch of tune up parts to try and quell the black smoke. I have a pretty decent rock garden on a steep hill on my property, and took it on a little test last weekend. It does great! Got a wheeling date planned for april 26th, so I want it fully functional by then. I was talking with a guy at work at the new job, started talking 4runners (he is driving an 05) Turns out he has had a couple first gens, and had a kline soft top. He brought it in for me, and it looks to be complete and in good shape. Definitely going to get that mounted up before summer!! Still got snow on the ground here in VT, so its not really wheeling season yet. Soon though!

little poser shot on my buddys 85. He just finished up the DIY beadlocks in my shop. They look awesome. The truck should be even more capable now! Going to leave me in the dust!

yes it is. Wasn't when I got the truck, but I got it working with a little bit of playing.

I am thinking about offering this up for sale. I thought I would have time to use it much more than I have. Only really been out twice since completed, and I find myself needing a tractor on my property over and over again. Cant afford to have both. The 4runner is the cleanest you will find, and 100% ready to go. Could be driven across the country and wheeled the whole way. I am asking $6000, which is a big loss for me. Will make a legit 4 sale post in the classifieds with some new pictures of her without mud all over. I went searching for the cleanest 1st gen I could find in the US, and this was it.
