1993 Bonneville No spark
Hoping there are some GM guys around,
I recently got a 93 bonneville non-supercharged with the 3800 from a good buddy of mine. Backstory is he bought it with a thrown rod in the motor. It did run (badly obviously), but nonetheless it would run and even drive a little bit. He chose to buy an engine from pick-a-part. He got it all put together but it wouldn't start so he gave up on it.
So, it appears to have fuel but no spark, somebody said crank sensors were a common failure? Because they didn't change over sensors or anything, anything could be wrong.
Any help is appreciated

Common crank sensor failure along with its' pigtail. If you could scan it for data, you would see no rpm signal. Should have no injector pulse too. Only crank sensor, ignition module, and ecm for spark. You may need a different crank puller to pull off I think.

I have a manual and it does look like a PITA to do lol. Its OBDI so can't really scan it. I did find a test procedure for it, really needs two people do do it efficiently though, so i will likely try that. Or I may just bite the bullet and replace it. Peace of mind if nothing else, its not really that expensive.
