Tire size question.

I've been slowly working on my 4Runner project, and am almost to the tire upgrade stage. It's still on the (don't laugh) 235/65/R15s that were on it when I got it. Most of the mechanical issues have been resolved, so its about time for them to go! I'm thinking 33x10.5s for now, then maybe a 2" or so lift in the future.

Only problem is the only tires I can find locally in that size for under $200 each are BFGoodrich Allterrain K/Os, which I had on a '05 F150, and wasn't thrilled with.

I'm trying to broaden my search, what metric tire size is about the same as a 33x10.5x15? Most of the places around here look at you funny when you try to get LT size tires instead of metric

Any good online tire places that might have a good selection of 33s while staying under $200 each shipped?

Shipped where? I know of a few sites with 33's for a decent price.
www.onlinetires.com is the lowest I've seen, they have 33x10.5x15 in the ko's and the km2's, and 33x9.5x15 in the ko's.

you could run some 32 x 11.50 R15s.

Try tirerack.com, if you have a firestone tire shop around, i believe they ship them to firestone for free.

Or. Summitracing.com
4wheelparts.com sometimes they have deals on tires.

What would be the pros/cons of running 32x11.5 as opposed to 33x10.5?

Some people have had 32x11.5's rub when 33x10.5's didn't, sometimes on the same wheels. I've never run either, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
Myself, I'm gettin some 33x10.5 km2's and mounting them on my 8" wide 4.5" backspaced rims, which are just about as close as you can get to stock Toy rims.

I got the 33x10.50 km1 mud terrains on mine with 15x8 wheels with 4in backspacing and they fit pretty well but had to do some minor trimming. If I would was you I would go with the 33x10.50 since it will give you just a little more clearance

Search google for a metric tire size conversion. There are some pretty good tables on there.
