Hell yeah it's a relief. I mean I lost about $250 bucks in this whole deal between the balance and the difference in price of the tires, but on the other hand, I basically drove around on a set of tires for 4-5 months for free so it helps ease the pain somewhat. I'll take some pics tomorrow if it's not raining.

Looks great! Don't feel so bad. I spent more than that trying to correct my Dunlop problem. If I had switched to Michelins from the beginning, I would have saved quite a bit. I just refused to believe that any brand of tires could be that bad.

I like to think of these things as learning experiences anyway.

Edit: By the way, I noticed that the Michelin LTX M/Ss I purhcases were made in Japan. I didn't realize that until I was checking the air pressure in them a few months back. I had no idea they were even made in Japan.

Vato,
Not with the Michelin. It could be all in my head, but the Revos I had were a six ply light truck tire and were much heavier than these Michelins and the truck did feel a tiny bit more sluggish with the Revos. Now don't get me wrong, the six ply tire is great for off roaders, but not for me. Go with the 75s.

Just a little thought for you guys, I work for a discount Tire and have balanced my tires using the adapter and it doesnt make a differance at all. You probably got a bad set of tires, it does happen and with all the people who are happy with tthose tires on this board that has to be what happend. also you could have a bent wheel but since it rides smooth now you probably can rule that out. Just a little info for you!

I thought the same thing the first time I cleaned my Michelin LTX A/T's. That would explain why they are made so well!

LSU: Glad you finally got the problem taken care of. I am suprised that the Dueler's gave you such a bad vibration problem. I used to sell those tires and never had that problem. Maybe your tires were made on a Friday afternoon....
