Interco TrXus M/T?
Does anyone run these tires? I was thinking about trying these in a 31/10.50.What kind of wear can I expect? Or should I go with an A/T type tire?Mostly street ,but I dont like getting stuck when I go play offroad because of wimpy street tires.

I have a friend with tj, and another with a charokee (not close friends lol) and they both hated them, they wear super fast and loud. Andy the charokee owner switched to radial tsl's 32x10.5 an has run them for two years with half wear. those are the only two people I know that have run them.

I on the other hand...... love them. I am running 33 x 12.5 on my '87 4Runner. I drive about 120 km daily, mostly on the highway. I don't find them any louder than my old BFG at's. They are great in the mud too. They don't seem to have any measurable wear in the last 3000km since I put them on. Bit of a bugger to balance though. I was very surprised at how well they work in the rain. I have no problem recommending them.

When I was researching tires, the TrXus M/T had the most polarized reviews I'd ever seen - about half absolutely HATED them, and half couldn't have spoken more highly of them.

That is what I found when I researched them too. Then I got a deal I couldn't refuse and like I said... I love them.

i just got a set of 38" truxus or whatever for 300 bucks they are definetly worth that but i dont know if i would choose them out of any tire i like them more than the SS on the road and superswampers are loud on the road and suck off it anyway. if i was going to choose a tire for on and off road it would be bfg m/t for sure.

The Trxus MT is one of the only mud tires that's good-ish on ice from what i've read. Other breathing this rarified air are Maxxis Bighorn and some retreads that have silica (sharp edge sand) in the tread.

Chevotta di you say the swampers suck on and off road? Have you owned these tires (radial tsl). I can WALK through holes and obsticals that my old bfg mt's would have cringed at. THE SWAMPWERS ARE 10000% better than the mt's in every catagory with the exception of wear. The tsl's are still surprising me there too, 4000km and 1/64 wear. I have run both tires on the same rig and can tell you the BFG MT's are nowhere near the overall tire the tsl is.

I've read the reviews, you either hate them or love them, for me, they're cheaper then the BFG M/T which is a big overrated IMO.. I heard a few folks had blowouts, but I'm sure they're a good tire, I just got a set of 4 for 550$ and will be picking them up next week, oh and they're 33x12.5's.. Try em..

$699 isn't too far off. I called my local offroad shop and they could order them for about $620 + tax, so that's about right.
