No practical 37 from the SX, but you can get a 36x12.5. It would mean 16.5" rims which likely means beadlocks, etc.
I really think that you can have it all in the form of either Krawlers or MT/R's in something that will be decent on the street and will "rock" in the rocks.
Search for SSR's. Expensive and disappointing seem to be most of the reports.

HUH??? 36 x 12.5 "15" is what I have and if you put them on 8" rims they measure out at `37" and are less likely to pop off bead. They also make 38.5 x 12.5 15 and 38.5 x 14.5 15.

All 16.5's can not be Beadlocked because the tire bead has a 15 degree bead seat angle. The bead will not have enough contact on the rings to control tire movement successfully. The 16.5 tire is a high load, high pressure designed tire and the 15 degree angle bead seat is used as a taper to match the rim to relieve the stress put on the outer rim lip of these types of tires.

Will Discount Tire trade your 295's in for something bigger?

You cannot use 15" rims on new runners with big brakes.
You can use Hummer beadlocks in 16.5" rims.
I think that heavy ass Swampers will be the end of your IFS.
I have not heard of those issues with BFG's.

The smallest IROK that 4wheelparts carries, on their website is a 36 x 13.5 x 16LT for $232 each. Ouch.....The wife will really love me then.

There's an on going discussion about the swampers at tacoma territory and how many people are having problems with them, you may want to go there and read what has been written.

If I decide to drive my 4Runner to the trail, it could be one hell of a long drive, and I may not have a steering rack by the time I get there.
