Oregon RV Campgrounds

Can anyone recommend some good RV Campgrounds in Florence and Coos Bay area of Oregon? (Preferably from experience) We have a travel trailer and wifey likes her comfort so electricity, water, and sewer/sani-dump are a must. I've seen a couple over the net but webpages can be deceiving. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful state in August.

Cheers
P.S. I can hardly wait to hit the Dunes with my 4runner!!!

x2

Honeyman SP is the one. It's in Florence with direct beach access. I stayed there last November. Crowded but plenty of sites, close to town and the dunes are right there.

Rock Creek National Forest is really nice.

it's in between florence and "strawberry hill". there was some construction there in august on the east side of 101. but i highly recommened RC. they have power hook up and stuff, but no showers that i can remember.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. We are planning our August trip over the next couple/three weeks and would like to make reservations. The campgrounds up here fill up waaaay before the weekends so I don't want to be driving around everywhere trying to find a spot to camp with our trailer, especially in a state I don't know very well.

Keep the suggestions coming...

Cheers

I was going to recommend the Florence location as well, though we camped on the beach (no rv). You'll have a blast on the dunes. We hit it up on quads a few years back. Had a blast.
