I looked through the wiring diagrams I have and struck out making sense of the wires you mentioned that end in a single plug. You have a picture of the wires in question? Where they are on the harness? Where they are close to in relation to other plugs? Etc.
I can go check mine out since we have essentially the same harness.

also i was reading in one of the other threads where you said that i should use the 3.4 clutch...how much trouble would you expect me to see with the 3.0 clutch? because any way i can save money is good lol...also how much trouble should i expect to have with the oil pan and the way the designed it to be sandwiched together??? thanks Jason

Using the 3.0 sandwich mount will work also. Lots of guys do. I opted to swap to the 3.4 baffle since it was a simpler design to avoid leaks but there are 1000's of 3.0 trucks out there that do not leak with the sandwich mount.

well i got the truck pulled up into the shed today since it has been too wet to work on it...i decided to get it somewhere dry cuz i have been getting anxious...lol...got the hood off, tranny bolts loosened, and air cleaner system pulled out before i had to quit...and i had pulled the radiator before the rain came...so im coming slowly but hopefully i will be able to work on it a bunch this weekend

I know ppl hate BL's but I chose to do a 2 inch. And I wish I went with 3. Running 35's with a 4in suspension and only a 2 inch body sucks! I really don't want to cut sheet metal, but I may have to.

Well guys its been a long time since I put an update on here...probably because I have been trying to wrap up school and haven't had time to do anything to it for the past couple of weeks...lol...I did however get the motor out of the truck before I had to stop working on it...I get out of school Thursday and plan to b working on it a lot after that trying to get it finished up before my buddy gets home from ait so we can take it out and screw around in it before he goes active duty...wish me good luck

Personally, I would wait and get a Runner ECM. That way you know that its going to work. I am not very informed about T100's at all but I would worry that there are enough differences between the two to cause headaches. EGR possibly being one.
Runner ECM's are easy enough to get a hold of as to not need to introduce any potential issues when its not necessary.

The ECM number that I used is 89661-3D310
97 Runner motor, auto harness that I converted to manual. Works perfect. Smog legal and no trouble codes.
car-part.com is a good resource to find one. Usually less than $100. I paid $50 for mine i think.
Search 1997, 4Runner, computer box Engine, 4x4 6cy. manual transmission(MT)
