the main signal wire from the VSS should be spliced into the ECU's SPD connector. so the vss will be hooked directly into the 3.0 dash harness side, and the vss signal wire needs to be split and tide into the ECU spd wire... This way the system picks it up

Ok I understand now. Don't know when Ill get to that seeing how I have everything put back together inside now. Ill be driving eight hours home on monday from CO to UT. Hopefully everything works and I wont run into problems. One thing, I've heard the oil pressure gauges arent very accurate, mine seems like its running a little low. Should I worry about this? How did you tie in the O2 heater into your ECU?

Well I took the runner out for about a two hour drive. Lots of hills to go up. An hour there and an hour back. Ran great!! Didn't heat up and the oil pressure seemed normal. When I tried to come back tho, the starter decided to be stupid. it wouldn't turn over. I tried and tried then my starter wire started getting real hot. So I had to pull the kick panel back off and pull the wire through the firewall and touch it to a hot wire in the fuse box. Really annoying doing all that. But then after that it started fine? I have no idea what that means, maybe a relay?

The weird thing is my rear isn't even plugged in and the only o2 code I'm getting is for the heater circuit. Hopefully everything is functioning right

yeah you should. change the front one to a obd2 sensor and you should be good to go. the vss code is a whole can of worms which i'm researching at the moment. looks like ours is not sending out the correct signal to the ecu. so even if you rig it like the way i said it still will throw.
Looking into some kind of signal pulse generator. god what a f'n headache this is. once i get the vss figured out the gas mileage should go up, because the ecu is still running in limp mode.

Yeah tell me about it man. I thought figuring out the wires I did was hard, this VSS thing sounds like hell. I will get looking at some diagrams soon. Oh and fixed the starter problem. After I broke down in the desert (moab) I realized that the wire coming off the starter from the ignition had broke clean off. So I had to push start it and got it home. Tore the thing down and soldered the hell out of the plug to the wires inside. Fixed my problem!
