R150F inspection plate ???

In the middle of a 3.4 swap from a 01 auto into a 93 manual. Got the 3.4 installed 99% of the way tonight then realized I needed to get the inspection plate (half moon shaped cover that attaches to the bottom of the bellhousing) installed. So I'm searching all over my pile of parts from the initial removal of the 3.0 and I can't find an inspection cover anywhere. Looking through the FSM for the 3.0 and tranmission and I don't see any mention of one. The inspection plate from the 01 auto does not bolt up.

So before I completely stop progress I'm wondering if anyone can confirm that the R150f did come with a bottom inspection plate? I can't imagine it would just be open at the bottom but I also can't believe I've misplaced this

Thanks for any help you can provide.
Eric

Now you have me wondering about my swap. I have the inspection plate and it bolts up to the R150F that was attached to the 3.4.

I'm not sure if it will bolt up to my R151F. I "THINK", on the 22RE on mine, the plate that bolted to the block, behind the flywheel, hung down and covered the lower part of the bell housing.

Does the 3.0 have a similar plate?

My 91 3.0L R150F did have an inspection plate, so my guess is that you must have misplaced it.

Yeah, I'm assuming I misplaced it as well. I went ahead and torqued down the mounting bolts from the bellhousing to the block without installing the inspection plate because it appears it does not sandwich between the two. I'll plan on tracking it down or sourcing another one before the swap is complete and install it then.

Thanks for the confirmation SacRunner!!
