EWD's for an 89 pickup 22re

Anyone have anything? I've already searched the forum and found info on one of the engine to body plugs but have had no luck with finding anything else, second body plug and alternator/starter wiring. The tech info site only goes down to 90 and the wiring may be different. 89 is an odd ball year so possibly EWDs from an 88 maybe similar. I went to the dealer and they said they would call me if they find a wiring book I could buy. It could be a few weeks before I could get them. Luckily the ttora EWD FAQ had everything for my donor motor.

89 started a 3.0 that year so good luck if you have that transition OHM>OHM.OHM!!!

I guess Helm Inc is now the authorized merchant for service manuals. They are not available yet but the wiring packet will be $60. That is a bit too much.

Try this. http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/index.html Look at 88 and 90 it helped me and im on swap #5. The early one's are easy. Your alt and starter is plain and simple. 3.4 alt wire and your start wire. OHM is use a OHM meter and chase the wire. And draw it all out. 6 to 8 wires and your on the road.

I've printed out all the ones from ttora. Even found an 89 4runner somewhere else. The OHM meter is my new friend for the next few weeks. I'll figure it out, having the right ewd would def cut down time.

Looks like a 90 4runner may be an exact match or is very close. All the wires are the same color and correspond to the pin #s on my plugs. Tomorrow I'll trace a few to double check. A 90 truck is different. I've got a TIS subscription till Sunday night submit requests here I may have some spare time.
