i blew my 22r and i am trying to decide about motors to go with. If i decide to go with a 3.4 what all will i have to buy to make it bolt up and run with my factory stuff on my 86 toyota pickup. can anyone tell me wjat all this is gona cost me and how much more pwer will the 3.4 have. thanks.

You will have to get the motor and tranny and cross member ecu plus wiring harness because the 3.4 will not mount to the 22re tranny , look in the motor swap area you should find all the info you need ,

I second what DC said.

You're looking at a ton of work, plus a bunch of new parts other than the engine to get this to work right. You might want to consider swapping a Supra motor instead.
