Running Board/Nerf Bar Cleaner
I have running boards on my '95 4R and was wondering the best way to get them looking like new...nice and BLACK!
Anybody have any luck doing that?

Fink,
Before I took my running boards off I used a number of different things that worked well....
- Silicone Gel
- Turtle's Black Chrome (Don't know if this is even made anymore)
- Mother's Back to Black
Before I applied any of these, I'd spray some Bleach White on the boards and took a scrub brush to get the dirt off.
When I was in a hurry I just sprayed on some No-Touch tire cleaner on the boards and wiped up the excess (as there's no place for it to drip to).

Yeah...I was thinking forever black but was hoping for something available locally. I know I can probably find some Mothers products around here...so Back to Black or maybe just some bleach and then a tire foam or something.
What else?
