Socal-Miller Jeep Trail June 10th 9AM (TTORA invite)
How's it going everyone just thought i'd extend the invite I had gotten from some TTORA guys. Like the title says, Miller Jeep Trail off the I-5N and Frazier Park June 10th at 9am. There is quite a group of guys going and from the socal ttora group so I figured some of the socal yotatech guys may want to head out as well. Here is the link if you need more information:
http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum...6&page=1&pp=30
I will be heading up from Long beach so if there are any Los Angeles or San Diego guys interested in going let me know maybe we can caravan up there.
Thanks, Pat

Make sure you take the time to stop and swim at the river a the bottom of miller jeep or at least at piru creek a the end befor it turn back into pavement.
i'll be up there this summer and will definatly post it up for those who miss this run.

I think you should be fine. When I did Carveacre I was completely stock and I have an 86. Had tiny tires they were like 235/75. Personally I think Carveacre may even be more difficult than this trail by looking at the jeep trail review pictures. So you'll be alright. Has to do a lot with the driver, the truck can go a pretty long ways.

Is Sunland the same as Sun Valley? So you will be on the way up then for me? Yah your 2000 should do just fine. I think they are in some ways more capable than my old ass 86.

I would at least take off the running boards if you have them. Make sure you also have good tow strap points in the front and maybe the rear also.
Have fun up there I wish I could do it again!

hey toyo i live in fountain valley. if i go we can convoy up there. ive been to hungry valley but we've only talked about the miller jeep trail. Im not 100% sure if i can go yet, i requested that weekend off for my military reserve duty but the date got switched, so i had to make a switch to work that weekend so i could get the proper weekend off. i gotta fix that stuff, and i'll let you know. if i go i'll drive up in the morning

Not at all trying to scare anyone from hitting this trail. By all means, GO! I would just hate to have someone bite off more than they could chew and be pissed that nobody kept it real about the difficulty level of the trail.
It starts off with an obstacle called the Gate Keeper. It does a fine job of letting you know within the first 500ft if you are gonna have trouble. Just thinking about this trail makes me more bummed that I cannot go
