Thanks Eric......

As far as shooting goes, there is a range just a mile or so down the road from Superstitions, none that I know of at Truckhaven.

Bring whatever you think will be fun- rc cars, squirt guns, sand toys...just remeber we clean up our messes, tread lightly, and pack out what you bring in.

I am leaning towards Superstitions for this run...there are dunes, rocks, high speed washes...a little bit of everything.

I really want to see a good turnout from the So Cal crew...so clear your calenders

I am stoke. It gives me excuse the get Safari roof rack so I can pack stuffs on top of it at night and sleep in the 4 runner with the air matress. Damm, I sound like a "sissy". J/K I have lower back problem. How long does it take to get there? I am from Orange County. Marc, I saw your direction but it from San Diego. I can take the 5 South to San Diego. That's all I know. I want to leave on Friday from home but traffic will take me approx. 3 hrs to get to San Diego.

Please post direction from Orange County, in case, other members from OC want to come too. Address of location is fine. I can mapquest to it.

Thanks for organize this.

You will need to figure out the best way to get there...

Looks like you can take the 5 south, to the 805 south, to the 8 east

or

10 east to the 86

Man, this sounds like it's going to be fun!

My schedule is going to be tight since it's my daughters b-day the weekend after. I'll check to see if I(we) can make it.

Lets have a vote on where to go.....

Truckhaven or Superstitions....

Truckhaven is a maze of moonscape like canyons, hill climbs, ravines that flex your suspension, and some rocky climbs.

Superstition is half dunes, and half rocky trails. There is a whole network of marked trails that have whoops, very easy to almost impassable trails...something for everyone.

I am up for either...they are both a blast, and both ok for the kids.

So give me some input...which one is best for our first desert run of the season??

I have never been to Truckhaven, which in fact sounds like a Haven for trucks, which we have. So that entices me.

But, Superstition is always fun, even when you rip off a shock mount.

I won't be pissed either way, but my vote is for Truckhaven. (Plus it's fun to vote against Eric)

OH YEAH! MARC, you're a contributing member, why don't you make one of those super slick polls, so we can vote for real.

Sweet! We have an official poll. I won't be dissapointed either way.

I told Alea to leave the 3-5 open for me. Se pointed out that that would be the soonest I could get out to the dirt anyway. hahaha Good Planning Marc!

Both are really cool. It just seems like we have more in the camp fun at Super. We can do either this time and then in a little while do Truckhaven also. I want to wheel lots this fall!

And Seth your just being contrary.
