While I've not been on these specific trails, any streams in the area should be at about their lowest point in the year since they've had little rainfall since the spring snowmelt. Your stock rig should do just fine in the water - just don't be too excited with the skinny pedal.
Your rocker panels are the lower 1/4 of your body work, between the front and rear tires. What you would kick w/ your boot if you tried to get into your truck w/o opening the door.
I may be in for a day run. My '04 Taco is stock height, with stock tires and stock suspension so you guys fretting over who will be on the easy trails have at least one companion. Besides being stock, it's Christmas and I don't need any unforseen bills.
Haven't been on a trail w/ any of you before. It will be good to put names to faces. I'll update as soon as I know one way or the other.
Since there's are a few people, like myself, who aren't super familiar with the area, here's a Google Map highlighting the Discovery Center location.

I will be coming up the 15 from San Diego. This works for me. Might be a stretch to make it by 7:15am but I will give her hell all the way up. I have to drop the little one off at the sitter at 6am. What ch. on the CB radios?

Caravan options? Since it looks like most of us will be from LA, I thought I'd open this up.
There are 2 ways to get to BB. 18 going slow and windy or 38 around the back. I personally will be taking the 38 around the back as it's not windy and easier for my 4runner.
I will open this up for discussion as part of the fun is all caravaning up to the site together If I'm not driving up fri night I'd like to setup a meeting location for D&B at the Ontario Mills Parking Lot at 700am and depart at 7:15am. From there, it should only take 1:15-1:30ish.

well the meeting time was arbitrary. If you SD people need more time, I can push it back a hour or so. Just let me know so I can make the adjustments.

i think leavin it early is a little better...even though some of us have to leave earlier than others getting an early start i think would be more rewarding. meeting up there and getting into groups will take a while so the futher we push it out getting there the less time we have to mess around and the later we get home....just some thoughts

It would really help me out if it was 0800. I cannot leave earlier because of day care for my 1 year old. I can't wait until he can ride with me on these runs. If this works great. If not I will make it there one way or another so don't change it just for me.
More people! This is awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem. I'll PM you with a phone #. Call me and we'll work it out. Not real good with routes along the way so it will be Map Quest for me but no worries we'll figure it out.

I just updated the list again and included what trails you guys want to pursue. Please look at the list and let me know if I'm missing anyone or any details.

For those of you guys that are running the Hard trail, do you have lockers??? I don't know if my r. locker will come in by then??? If I'll need a locker then put me on the Easy trail but how easy is it??? If I don't need a locker for the Hard trail then put me on it!!!

I did the trail w/o a rear locker and I believe others have too. I wouldn't worry too much as part of the fun will be getting stuck Then we can help ya out and get ya unstuck.

Ok - confirming I'll be there. Between the choices of easy and hard I'll take hard but I've only got a 2.5 lift and sliders with 275 MTR's. Not sure how hard, hard will be. I certainly won't cope with anything that Lance's rig could do HARD. Just not enough clearance or protection for that.
Anyhow, I'll be there for the day.
Thanks for organising Lance.
