New magazine again

From 4WD & SUV just came today.
This mag is my favorite. Always some coverage of Toyotas in it.
Filled with cool stuff all the time.

Just saw a write-up for a vid on wheelin' in my area on the Naches, Kaner Flats, & Pucker Ridge.

Here is the link to the vid. May have to order this tomorrow.

Hey Corey,
As a matter of fact I have the vid. I purchased over a month ago.
In the video you will see our local boys from Central 4Wheel Drive (Kent), Scott, Adam and Bill. All of them were running the Naches. Scott is featured running his rear tire off one of the bridges. It shows him winching and using the high lift jack to get himself out of trouble.
Its pretty cool.

Oh. You can buy the video at Central 4Wheel Drive.

Mike, thanks for the tip.
That will also give me an excuse to go down to Central today.

Maybe I'll have the boy's autograph my vid copy

Scott's a pretty cool guy. He cut me a great deal on the winch when I took the bumper back to get it put on.

I doubt very much they'd be dry in your heat, I'm use to 70 to 80 degrees in the summer.
More like up the crack of my ass

Mike, picked up the vid today, and gawked at the nice 4 point seatbelt harnesses they have on the custom seats against the back wall.
I have often thought about getting some belts like that.
In this mag I get, last months had a good write-up on custom belts in it.

Scott said they don't mention the "bridge" incident in the video around the store

I'm gonna fire up the VCR here soon and check some of the footage out.
I suppose it will get me in the mood to run the Naches.
Not sure if I really want to take my rig again though until it has a locker.
Pretty nasty stuff in places to hang you up on.

Well you know, you just ran it a few weeks ago.

Most awesome

Just got done watching the vid I bought today.
I highly recommend this vid to people who like scenes of Mt. Rainier, lots of trees, and just plain good mountain scenery.
Lots of excellent 4wheelin' footage.

It's devided into 3 parts.
1. Pucker Ridge. That will make ya pucker all right.
2. Kaner Flats. Another pucker factor run.
3. Naches. My favortie since I ran it a few years back.

To be honest with you, I don't know how I snaked my rig around some of those rocks & trees.
The majorty of the rigs were Jeeps, with a few being from the crew who work at the Kent Central 4WD.
Short wheel base rigs were going around some of the corners and getting up on the rocks.

It's amazing I made it through there with running boards on, and not a scratch.
Guess I'll chalk it up to driver skill

It was pretty cool to watch Scott with his Jeep ease it back up onto one of the many bridges in there using a Hi-Lift jack.

Mike, the vid was worth buying it. Now I know where that cabin is too. You have to hike in a bit to get to it.
In the video, they also started at the end where we came out.
