General Sam's for memorial weekend
some buddies and i are going to General Sam's Offroad Park in huntsville, tx for memorial weekend, we are heading up friday evening(5/25/07), camping, and coming home monday afternoon(5/28/07).
here is the parks website www.generalsams.com
they have 700 acres and over 40 miles worth of trails, some pretty diverse terrain but no rocks to crawl. there is usually more than enough mud.
ill be taking my just purchased 89 4x4 runner for its frist wheelin trip, also with us we will have a 2001 xterra, a 95 pathfinder, k5 blazer, a big 95 sierra, and potentially another 95 runner.
any of you texas boys wanna come out?

I'll be there if I don't have to work. I'll probably be the Creep it's '99 Wrangler red with a tan hard top (with trail rash on front fenders). The Yota is my daily driver so I only play a little in it. See ya there!! Any of yall go to Shiloe Ridge? It's near Alto off of US 69.

awesome we'll see you there, ill be the light blue metallic 4runner being towed in by a "army" green nissan xterra, also with us will be a blue xterra and maybe a green cherokee
never been, its further from the house, i know 2 peeps who have been to both, they say they like general sams better bc it has more diverse terrain.
i have however seen pics of shiloe rigde and it seems they have ALOT of mud, which i would love to swim thru in my runner
