Vehicle change: Didn't get the paperwork in order for the GMC- still don't have the registration complete, so, the Grey Exo'd Toy is heading north-

Hey Mark,
Thanks for making the trip from Vegas- say Hello to Dutch for me- your both welcome on any runs.
The pic's of the Escalade (or as they are called, "an' ekalade" when outfitted w/ the dub's and low profiles ) were taken at the Snow Bowl- the guy backed off into the ditch trying to turn around. We all figured the only thing that kept him from going over on his lid were the running boards. It took two full sized rigs to get him out- I didn't have enough traction with the GMC, so Dutch hooked up to me.
I see you guy's found the overlooks- pretty spectacular veiws! That's a great spot to see over the Sedona/Red Rock country. Did you hear any Elk hollerin'?

Hey everybody!
We had a great time, and enjoyed meeting you all.
Here is a pic from the top:
We then found a nice camping spot off of 164B. On our exploration, we came across a forest fire in progress. A tree, that had been hit by lightning recently, was burning from the inside out. We called the USFS, and they came and put it out.
Apparently the bark of the trees is damp right now, so the threat was not huge. However, they were glad we called it in!

Awww, man! What a shot from the ski lift! I'm so used to seeing that view in the winter. I climbed from the lodge to the very top (12,000+) about ten years ago and that was the only non-winter view I've had from up top. Next time!
