I wish! I am pretty sure there isn't a park here but there was some where in WI called Apple Hills or Apple Creek or apple something (not Apple ton) that had a park. I though it was in 4wheel and offroad ultimate adventure a couple of years ago. I will try to dig up that issue but think it was western WI. Only place I have wheeled here is 1.5 hrs north around Lakewood at a place called McCaslin.

come on some one must have a pair?
We did a test run this weekend on gumbys fj55. The park is in good order (sloppy, in the trenches, as always, dry on top) and I have a good idea on what we will run.

So how many do you have for your Saturday run? The boss has ok'd it but I still have to get off this forum and do some work on the '91 before it is ready. My Longfield (27 spline) showed up today and the seals I ordered are here so I should be able to get that stuff in time. Now I just have to get by the DMV to get the tags renewed and finish my undercarriage project. Broke out the wire cup brush last Saturday but haven't had time to do any painting. Would like to get this done before slapping the mud on but it can wait. Is the FJ trail team still on (not that it matters)?

Alright, I never thought going wheel'n would become a moral delima. My wife is going to be pissed and my daughter is going to be let down, but I'm in. I will be there at 8:30 in the parking lot, which means I got to leave around 6:30 a.m. to get there. I just can't miss this opportunity, so count me in.
4rnr, can you p.m. me a cell phone#? Just in case i'm late or get a flat tire or something.

Looks like a solid 20. The midwest team will be there with 3 FJCs and a 4Runner. Woody from the east coast team (and Appleton) will be there with their Baja FJC.

I'm out. I need to fix the tcase leak and the seal I ordered is the wrong one. I will have the right one tomorrow but have decided to replace the rear tcase comp flange too and it won't be here until Monday. Next time...

Hey SKNKWRX,
Just an update, 4rnr no longer lives in palos and I will be leaving from New Lenox. It seems like so far that everyone is just going to meet down at the cliffs.

You were told wrong. Or at least told out of date info.
My wife is bringing her new FJC. She's not getting body damage.
See the website www.thecliffsinsaneterrain.com for directions.
Coming from the city - take 55 to 80 to the Morris exit. Go south about a mile to 6 west. (not 6 east, that's right over the 80 bridge) Take 6 west out of town and west until a four way stop where 6 turns south. Continue on 6 until the Cliffs. It'll be on the right side just past the "Cool Bus".

Are you the guy with the nice red 4runner. I met you a couple times around town Im the guy with the red 92 exo'ed 4runner, and black 88 soft top runner. I beleive I was the one who told you the cliffs is a damage fest. well I regret to agree with gumby on this, it aint no more. It was back when it opened and the trails were tight as hell, but now its turninig into the badlands. On top of that it hasnt really rained in at least two weeks, so #1will probably bore even the most green wheelers. So it wouldt be a bad time to take a swing at it.
