Is the rear seat cruel and unusal punishment?
I am thinking my 1989 4runner for an excab t100. I have two young kids and i want to make sure I am not gonna cause them psychological harm if i put them in the rear seat for longer periods of time, say maybe 3 hours? The seats look to be the same size as my old 89 Xcab toyota pickup. I read that the cab size is around the same as the excab tundra, so i am curios if a tundras rear seats could be modded to fit in the T100? anyone with kids who have a t100?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

My kids routinely sit in the back seat of my ex cab truck. not for 3 hours at a time but they sit back there quite a bit. doesnt seem to bother them anymore then any other car trip... lol

I had that exact truck, (miss it) but the seats in the T100 are larger and the leg room is significantly higher. I keep a rear facing car seat in the back (Britax marathon 70 or whatever its called) That would not have worked in the 89 pickup. The Tundra is supposed to have less room than the T100, but I think that must be the shape of the seats, which do not flop up, so your jack would have to be kept elsewhere if the tundra seats would fit.
