Hey Kyle, how about a Yotatech group buy price? I bet we could get together enough people for 100 lights just here on Yotatech, then there is 4x4Wire, TTORA, Custom Tacos, Offroad.com, etc...IF the price was really good of course.

Kyle, you guys should look into the new luxeon K2's that just came out. 130 lumens priced at less than $5 for the emitters.

Man, I wish I had some money to spend. I would love to have some backup lights that are roundeyes.com. You could just find some sturdy way to keep 'em on your hitch and they wouldn't get ripped off on the trail...

I found a nice source for ultra whites, but my concern is "bullet proofing" them for mounting. I'm thinking of just pouring acrylic over them. The small 2-part packs from the craft store should easily do quite a few. Dunno what that's gonna do to the beam pattern though.
I may play.

actually an easier way is to make a rubber mould with a taper cone that can slips over the LED lens, then using resin to fill it in, making them waterproof.
BTW they aren't the standard Ultra Whites.....................

Nice find! I'd love to see a pic of them at night... hmm...
Wandering The World finds more options here:
http://vehiclelight.com/paac.html
and here:
http://www.defender.com/category.jsp...5136&id=739053
And probably more here:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search
I like the ones you posted up though... They're potted (buried in epoxy) so they're waterproof and shock resistant. I may have to do a set of white for inside and 2 sets of red for underneath. Hmm...
