Some of these numbers aren't bad considering they are gas vehicle engines.
I wonder how the aliminum block DURAMAXX is going to live up.
DIESEL + ALUMINUM HEADS = ALOT OF MILEAGE ??

Man I thought my miles were high and I have 99k. I guess I'm thinking in terms of American made since that's all I've had before the 4Runner. I guess it's just broken in now.

Not Yota But Truly INCREDIBLE
Check out this link to the Guiness World record for mileage - It's a Volvo (used to own one almost like it way back in the early 70's). and ... the page has not been updated in a while. Now that guy must have taken some care of his vehicle!

My '85 had 210K hard miles. (The previous owner was a retard. Example: he used a wood screw to put the throttle position sensor back on the t-body)
My new guages that I got from ebay have 330K on them, but I don't know their history.

Mine has 203,000 on it. I just switched from my normal Castrol GTX 1030 to Castrol Syntec 1030. I use nothing but Castrol and Fram filters. My buddy told me last night he uses whatever the lube shop he goes to puts in. I was like are you psycho? I told him to start looking after his engine better. At the 203K I only need the valves adjusted to quiet it down a lil but otherwise its a beast.

I guess if you got 203K+ miles out of your engine then they must not be that bad.

i heard the problem with fram filters is that they don't have an anti-drainback feature, so for a few seconds your engine will supposedly run dry and cause your timing chain tensioner to wear out

My 99 has 100k on it. I used to have a '79 pickup. I bought it from my uncle in '91 for $400 with 149k on the odometer. The ONLY thing that was ever REPAIRED on it was a clutch at 125k. I painted it and put the interior from a sr5 4wd (bucket seats center console, etc) in it. I sold it in 96 with 240k miles on it. I only put a fuel pump and brake shoes on it the whole time I had it. I called the guy back in late '00 to see if I could buy it back, but he had just sold it. He put a master and slave cylinder on the clutch along with brakes - and get this - it had 370k on it when he sold it to a 16 year old kid for his first car... Can't KILL a 20R!
