Massive oil leak, build better?

came out from lowes to see a very large spot of oil underneath the the truck. so...i check the oil and see its still on the stick and drive it home (10 minutes ish) Pop the hood and oil is everywhere from the head down, leaving the valve cover area clean as i replaced it not too long ago as well as the oil pan gasket. i cannot tell where its coming from but im suspencting a head gasket . if it matters, my valve seats/guides are bad letting gas drip into the head causing brief oil smoke on startup. are there any more problem areas for the 22re that i should look into?

part 2:
im gonna be taking the head off soon (before it gets cold) to get them worked on so i dont smoke anymore. Is there anything i should do/modify while i have them off besides the normal 3 angle valve job, mill, seats/guides? Should i change the cam for a little more umph? Do they make roller rockers or are they even worth it?

truck info:
1994 22re 223k miles on orginal...everything
switched to 31's and lost power but it looks

Thanks yota tech!!

It wouldn't be the head gasket.

I had this problem with my 87. Turned out to be the oil dipstick was so old it was sloppy and popping out of the hole, thus oil would come spewing out the fill tube. You might want to look at other obvious problems, like the front main seal.

Roller rockers in a Toyota would be pointless, unless you are building a super high HP engine that needs every bit of HP it can muster. AFAIK, no one makes roller rockers for the 22RE. Cam will greatly help you.

I was told by an engine builder locally that he could probably do me some good by porting the heads and using oversize valves to allow for a greater lap area and a smoother transition. That was preferred over changing the cam. Any thoughts?
