License Plate Lighting

Ok guys, So im about to remove my rear bumper to start some chopping on the bed.
When I remove the rear bumper well, There goes my license plate lights. That doesnt work cause its got to be legal

For refrence, here's my junk now..

I got some frame with led strip that would have worked exactly how I wanted it, But it didnt have instructions and the customer support people were dingbats, So that was returned to VatoZone.

I plan on mounting the plate on the tailgate, As well as whatever lights I can find..
I cant find anything that fits my needs in autozone or kragen..
Who has moved theirs ? And what have you come up with ?

BTW, This is on my 99 Taco, But I know we have plenty of pickups and such.
Yes I did SEARCH, And I read a bunch of threads about this same stuff but I didnt see any with actual solutions.

Thanks

You probably could have used that LED frame Vatito ...
I'm guessing it was this...

Pilot Automotive/White and Red Stealth LED License Frame
Part Number:
WL704-RW
Can't see a pic of it and I could'nt find any listing for the part at Pilot but I'm going to assume it had one wire on it. In which case it would be grounding through the mounting screws what you would do is put a ring conn. on the ground lead of the old lights and set it behind the plate on one of the mounting screws and just butt conn the + side.
If you are going to french the plate into the tailgate then you could use just about any light from a car with a recessed, top lit plate.

It actually was that exact part number, But it had a bunch of different cords and you had to wire it into the brake light because it lit red with the brake light.
BUUUT, I found a post where my buddy Dell actually had to do something similar for his AM rear bumper

http://ttora.com/forum/showpost.php?...35&postcount=3

I picked that up and it actually has instructions this time, And is exactly what I was looking for, Ill post pics after I finish it..
