Do you seek attention and need to stand out? If no then whats the point? If yes, then I have a cute pink color you can paint your truck too...

In that case, any suggestions on PA system for trucks? Saw this:Electronic Siren and PA System Model 4000 Alert, and it sparked my interest.

take my advice- they are fun for a while, but then they get old and it will just be a big waste of money sitting on your truck. now ive said that-

I thought about the train horn for awhile but then I realized I need a horn the sounds like screeching tires coming to a stop. That's gets peoples attention real fast. I want it because in fairbanks spandexed road cyclists ride six wide every where and i could screech them out of my way. They'd move real quick when they heard that.

if you get one get the manual air valve that allows you to adjust the volume

Wow... thanks everyone for your input. It seems here everyone is telling me not to do it, of that they did it and regret it now. That is not what I was looking for, but its a good reality check.

Something I'd like to ask you guys who do have one installed is...
1) what brand to you have?
and
2) do these things deteriorate over time?

Thanks again for your input.

hornblasters shocker 240. www.hornblasters.com. mine has been on for about a year, gone through the biggest winter weve seen in about 20 years (a total of about 75ft of snow here) and it still works.

but really, unless you REALLY need one, spend it on something useful, like an SAS
