everyone is ok, doesnt look like any frame damage. other guy made it out just fine. scratches is all!
brief account of what happened:
out in death valley, rearended back of a tube bed pickup. scratches on the tube of the pickup, no one hurt, just a very bruised ego and wallet.
engine looks to be ok, had to be towed 100 miles across the desert to the nearest road, until it was loaded up as pictured.
i know lance is no longer here, but many of you are friend with him, and enjoy his articles/etc. just thought i would let you guys know. the full story will be posted elsewhere...

OK, a little more to the story, we were all moving quite fast along the dirt road near the racetrack. Usually if someone was gonna slow down or come to a stop, they get on the radio to notify the person behind them. Between Lance glancing away and not being notified, he couldn't stop in time. Most of the damage was due to the front bumper not being attached properly, it folded up too easily and caused the extensive damage. Fortunately the frame is just fine. Now the plan is to tube the front and replace the damaged parts. All the lights were destroyed, his winch is toast as well.......
