Anyone have these wheels?
Hello all, I am thinking about getting these wheels but have yet to see them on a 3rd gen 4runner.
http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/produ...&expand=sub31#
Please post pics if you have these wheels.
I have a few questions that hopefully you guys can help me out with.
1.) There are two models that fit my rig's lug pattern, PXA7089-6838 and PXA7089-6883. Which one is the right one for my rig?
2.) I assume that these wheels are not lug-centric and will eliminate the infamous "shaking" that plagues our rides.
3.) I have a 2001 4Runner SR5 Sport Model that come stock with the bigger wheels, tires, and brakes. Will I have issues with fitting these wheels on my rig?
I already called 4WheelParts and asked them these questions and I was not satisfied with their answers. I appreciate any and all responses.

find a bigger picture of that wheel, post a picture of your runner at a corresponding angle and i'm sure you could get a decent photochop of it.

I think the 2 different part #'s are because one set is lug centric while the other is hub centric. I would just get them from ebay motors via one of the online stores....like this...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-Pro...QQcmdZViewItem

The guy at 4WheelParts said that the Hubcentric wheels PXA7089-6838 are for GM vehicles only. Anyone know anything about this? I thought all aftermarket wheels were hubcentric. So that means the other wheels are lugcentric and I'll still have the vibration issues.

I have the same wheels, but with a polished lip. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/just-introducing-myself-pics-101575/
They are lug centric. Any wheel you get will be lug centric. Hubcentric wheels will not work on these vehicles. If you get the tires/wheels balanced properly with the right adapter you should have no vibration issues unless you have something else wrong with your vehicle. I do not have a vibration problem with mine after they were balanced properly.
The wheels will fit with no issues, provided you run the same tire size. If you step up to a larger tire, you may need some trimming.
I second the comment about 4wheelparts licking balls - order from somewhere else.
