My 88 Runner just turned 300,000 last nite. I bought it with 268,212, replaced head gasket. Would run it across the country if I had to. Looking forward to 400,000.

I'm about 150 miles away from rolling over to 200k. Still going strong despite having some starting issues which i havent bothered fixing. Runs like a champ when started. I engage the clutch at the lowest rpm possible. (I'm old and realized treating automobiles like crap costs me $$$)

On my 88 I have 293,4somethin' all original motor that has never had the head off, it has had a knock for the past 2 years and about 12k miles, never really cared since I have a long block that has been waiting for the day it goes.
But after last week I don't think it will hit 300k anytime soon, hit an Isuzu Trooper at 40 mph that pulled out in front of me, totaled the truck and now it will be off road use only.
