Moved to the Newbie Tech section.
The original section you posted this is in is locked down so members cannot reply to threads.
This question gets asked all the time - it all depends on what you do with your rig, what you need to do with your rig and where your priorities are.
I always focus on mechanical things, making sure it's functioning as close to perfect as I can get it.
What do you need to be able to use your Runner for?

So no rock crawling or anything with your rig?
You can always go with the tried and true bumper/winch combo.
There are ideas all over the place on here for stuff you can do.

Look at it this way, start with the truck it self, is it in good mechanical condition ?, is there anything that it needs now to keep it that way ?. If that`s all good then move on to what you want to use the truck for. If you want to wheel it then there are many directions you can go. You already have a lift and tires, and if you don`t want to regear yet then look into some armor. Sliders, front and rear bumpers. After that consider gears and lockers, and if you can afford it in the future consider duel cases.

With 253 posts that's not right - only areas that are restricted are the Classifieds and that's only with members with less than 15 posts.

Considering the 22RE, regearing would be at the top of my list. If you can remove your own 3rd members, I would get some geared and locked 3rds from eastcoastgearsupply.com. The new diffs wouldn't be much more than $1500 for both, and that's pre-geared to whatever ratio you want with the backlash set, and some Lockright lockers (or your choice) already installed. When they arrive, you just swap the new ones out with your old 3rds and send em back in the same boxes for a core.

yes gears first...
i know how it is being young and wanting your truck to look as BA as possible.
Gears and Lockers don't look cool, but it's alot more important than bumpers and a winch in your case
and besides..you could always get a set of junkyard 4.88's and put the lockers in yourself ...just have to do some research if ya don't know how!
after you get those in..you can start saving money (since you'll be gettin better gas mileage for one )..and when ya get the money saved up...buy a front bumper and winch...or front and rear bumper.

Do watch your language here, this is a family site so the mods want it kept clean.
With the tires you have the first mod you should do is gears, that will get your power and mileage back up were it should be.
