Rim and Backspacing question

OK I normally run a 12.5 wide tire on an 8 in rim. Well I am getting a new set of 36x13.5x15 IROCs and was wondering if they will work on an 8 in rim or do I need to step up to a 10. Either way I am getting a set of Soft 8 style rims, my old ones are pretty beat up. Also what backspacing, 4 or 4.75. This is going on a 82 P/U.

One last thing, who has the best price going on a complete set of this style rim, shipped. So far Summitt is the best I have found.

Thx in advance

i think a 10 wide would look better on a 13.50 than an 8 wide would. i run 33x13.50 on a 10" rim and love the look. also i would get the rim with 4" backspacing to get the tire out past the fender. lol oh and summit is a great place to by tires and rims they have some of the best prices and shipping is pretty quick to
