Welcome to yotatech! Great thing about registering is the ability to use the search function. Here's a few pages I found with various opinions on these headers:

I just ordered some for my 22re, I'll let you know how they work once I get them on. Reading through the other heads I couldn't really find a reason not to get them, I have a cracked down pipe and it would cost me $120 to fix it so I figured just get some headers and replace it all cause I wanted to do the exhaust eventually anyways. Gonna run the header, straight pipes into a cherry bomb glass pack, no cat.

Got my header installed and put on a glass pack (mounted backwards) tonight. I just welded a flange onto the glass pack so I can bolt it on or take it off later and put in a cat.

Man is it loud, I love the sound.

Here's a vid of the open headers, I'll have to get one of with the glass pack on it. It sounds so good idling around the alley and when it decelerates. Can't wait to hear it when I merge onto the highway for the first time!!!

I'm looking to get some headers for my 22re and have been going back and forth between pacesetter or LCE and so on... The guys in here rep LCE but there is a thread talking about how they rusted in one winter so I just don't know. Did the OBX's fit well and did you have any issues with installing them?

The OBX was really straight forward. I had my manifold off and the header on in about 2 hours maybe more maybe less, it was quick though. Only issue I had was I needed to drill out two holes a bit larger for the EGR bolts to fit in. Lucky for me my engine already had studs so it all cranked off super quick too.

I'd say go with the OBX, definitely better than Pacesetter but cheaper than the LCE or Doug Thorley. On these engines, especially stock, headers are headers performance wise. I replaced mine because I had a cracked down pipe and to replace it would cost almost as much as a header so I figured I'd just bite it and get a sick sounding truck at the same time and maybe a boost in economy.

that's what I was thinking a header is better than stock but that's about where it dies. No header is gonna provide better flow than the next

Little update on my header. Getting really poor mileage, but that's more due to not having cats and an O2 sensor. Truck sounds good though, I'll try to get a video sometime of it off road, some drive by shots.

I don't mind how mine sounds right now. When I move I am gonna have to put on a cat to pass air-care, it should quiet it down quite a bit too. Also gotta add a tail pipe to dump out the side cause it's loud in the cab with the cherry bomb almost right under the seat, no exhaust fumes though.

OBX headers are amazing for the price. They are stainless so they won't rust. Nice welds, thick flanges. I always buy OBX headers for my cars and trucks, never had a problem.

Yea I noticed quite a bit but I also had an exhaust leak before, my truck keeps running better and better so it's hard to say exactly. My friend has a 22r with a DT header and he said my 22re with the OBX was quite a bit faster, he has a rebuilt engine too and I have over 360K.
