well if you have a 80 4x4 you have 4.37 gears. 7.5 fronts out of a ifs will not work. if you want to regear i would do like i did. get a newer 5 speed tranny (lower 1-3) and go 4.88 or 5.29s
basically $1000 to regear. for r&p gears, master rebuild kits, lockright and zuk install.

I did some looking and got my hands on hollander and AIM interchange programs rear diffs up to 95 will fit in an 80 front and rear axles so it is possible to run the 4.56 or 4.88 gears out of a newer auto truck or 4runner if any one else is interested in this then please let me know of your by sending me a message or posting a request for info here also supra and newer 2wd 6cyl truck rear diffs will work but they must be rear diffs for both front and rear solid axle trucks if you wish to use newer diffs also if i remember correctly there are 3 different ratios for 80 i will have to check again since its been so long since i put the truck in storage but i believe mine were in the 3.70 or 3.80 range
