faulty mastercylinder?

Question faulty mastercylinder?

i have an 89 toyota pickup,v6.ive put three clutch master cylinders on it in the last year.the first two lasted a few months then the pedal went to the floor.the third,now in my truck,is leaking out the back into my floor.anyone know what my problem could be?cheap parts,something else?

If you're getting the cheapest one you can find then yeah, you get what you pay for.

yea^^ sounds like cheap remans. Did you replace the slave also?

faulty mc

took a look at it today.the pushrod in the back of the mc was pushing in at an angle,causing it to leak.probably what happened to the other two.so i took the linkage off my old aisin(made of solid metal)and replaced the one on the cheap mc(made of metal and rubber)its pushing in straight now but i will know in a few days if it will work.guess you do get what you pay for.by the way i did replace the slave an d the clutch hose.
