driving dual cases for dummies?

i cant find anywhere where there are instructions when or how to use a crawl box? i assume everyone knows the do's and dont's of the basics when to use it. i have one but only use low low 4wd w/ 1st gear ONLY. never had i try if it would go to 2nd gear with a faster crawl or perhaps to 3rd gear? basically just trying to gather info on when and how and situations to use all these addition gearings that are suppose to be avaliable? please anyone do add to this...thanks.

Use any gear that you find matches the situation.

Seriously, its that simple. Any forward and any reverse gear can be used at any time when offroad, based on whatever situation you are in. I have used all my gears at one time or another. Some of the ratios overlap, but once you play with it you will find what works best for you.
