I looked up the faq's and tech sections and had no luck on the search... I am trying to help a friends 16 year old son get his 86 4x road worthy. It's a basket case but it is his. I have managed to a least get it to run. The thing has been through a few engine swaps and a theft. The wiring harnness is spliced everywhere and all kinds of vacume components/lines are missing. I do not have much hope of making the current set-up road worthy. I have access to an 84 4x with a complete stock intake setup and harness. The stuff is free, so I think the best option is to swap it all out. Pretty sure it is doable just wanna check with those in the know about any potential hang-ups. Like the 22R intake will bolt to the 22RE head?

Well, I kept on diggin on google and looks like it will bolt up. Found some other tips on the fuel pump eccentric... Wish us luck.
