realistically speaking, no.
the 22r head changed with the introduction of EFI, but also had a carb'd counterpart so maybe it's possible.
However, even more relevent: beginning with the 85 model year, the block and head both were changed making it nearly impossible to use an 85 head on an earlier block. There were some 85's which used the earlier block and head in order to use up old stock, but in general it's easier to assume you cannot use an 85 head.

check near the bottom of the 85 block and see if theres a little port with a cap over it, thats the easiest way to tell the difference
and the early head wont work on the late block like abe said
